1) The "Home" button disappeared from my android app & I ended up uninstalling & then reinstalling

it in order to get it back. My question is: Why couldn't I use the arrow button to back up to the "Home"

page in order to select the proper computer on my network?

Home button should never disappear. Are you sure you have downloaded the app from Google Play ? Also it only appears when you are connected to a PC.

And when you press back button, it gets you back to the home(servers list) when you reach at the end of browsing history. If you need to reach directly, you can press Home button at top bar.

2) I was able to transfer a file to my Android's internal memory but, was restricted from saving a file directly

to my SD card & your instructions to un restrict saving to an SD card were not particularly clear. could you

please offer up more detail?

I believe you are using Android 5.0+, in that case, writing to SD Card is very easy. When you try to download or do any changes to SD Card, you will be asked to give WiFi PC File Explorer permission to write inside SD Card. The instructions are given whenever it is being asked. But to understand better here how to do it.

1. When Permission asking dialog appears, Press OK (Until the next dialog appears).

2. On top-right corner, press 3 vertical dots to open the menu. Make sure SD Card is visible.

3. Slide from left side to open up to navigation drawer.

4. Click/Press on SD Card

5. Then Press Select "SD Card" at bottom of your screen.
